SOFT POWER
Soft Power moves through Marrakech with a quiet authority. Flowing fabric follows the geometry of the old medina, while shadow and sun turn walls, arches and passageways into a shifting stage. The editorial treats softness as a deliberate position, not an escape from strength.
Photographed by Karina Timerkhanova and starring Sita Yasmine Ouattara, the story is built around feminine presence within a city shaped by architecture, tradition and movement. Pale drapery appears almost weightless against warm stone, then gives way to graphic colour and stronger silhouettes. Each look holds its ground without disturbing the atmosphere around it.
What emerges is a portrait of freedom expressed through gesture. A turn of the body, a fold of cloth and a pause beneath an arch become small acts of self-definition. Marrakech is not used as decoration. It remains an active visual language, giving the series its rhythm, heat and sense of place.
