There is a quiet tension running through Green Vein, a beauty editorial shaped by skin, light, texture and restraint. Rather than approaching beauty through excess, the series finds its strength in control. Created by photographer Damien Etcheverry, Green Vein explores the relationship between the face and the visual language placed upon it. The makeup does not sit on the skin as decoration.
