A Day In A Life: Chris Moon’s New Exhibition Brings Intimacy & Instinct to Marylebone

East London painter Chris Moon

Returns with a powerful new exhibition, A Day In A Life, presented in collaboration with his long-time champion Maia Norman. The show opens at Cramer St Gallery, Marylebone Square, bringing Moon’s raw, instinctive visual language into a refined central London setting from 14 to 30 November, with two exclusive preview events.

Known as a self-taught painter who built his career outside traditional institutions, Moon has long been celebrated for a practice rooted in emotional urgency and physical immediacy. His paintings carry a vivid, often melancholic energy that reflects his ongoing exploration of reinvention, identity and psychological tension. Across his early solo exhibitions in London, followed by shows in New York and Los Angeles, Moon has cultivated a distinctive voice that resonates internationally. His work has appeared in Interview, Flaunt, Dazed, Another and Port Magazine, and he was the subject of Jack Bond’s 2018 documentary An Artist’s Eyes. He is also currently developing a collaboration with Chanel, set for release next year.

A Day In A Life

Continues this personal narrative. The works feel like fragments of memory and emotion captured mid-thought, revealing both the chaos and clarity of the artist’s inner world. At the VIP preview event held on 13 November, guests were welcomed into an atmospheric installation where Moon’s paintings were paired with a striking DJ setup that transformed the gallery into a textured, sensory environment. The following evening, the Private View on 14 Novemberfeatured a special guest performance, deepening the dialogue between sound, movement and Moon’s expressive canvases.

The exhibition offers a rare chance to encounter Moon’s newest works up close, presented within an intimate space and supported by a community of collectors and admirers who have followed his evolution for more than a decade.

A Day In A Life runs at Cramer St Gallery, 13 Cramer Street, W1U 4EA, from 14 to 30 November, inviting viewers to step into Moon’s world for a moment and feel the pulse of a day lived through paint.
