Luxury shopping destination FLANNELS unveils its latest campaign - an authentic celebration of Brit modelling talent starring the iconic Jourdan Dunn, flanked by two of the country’s brightest upcoming male talents. 


Featuring a major focus on the British cultural scene, the campaign explores the digitisation of culture and communication now that society has been forced to pause and reflect. From the allied worlds of fashion and music, FLANNELS’ campaign talent traditionally smashes conventions, looking to reshape and reinvent their industries. Together, they explore what the future of luxury fashion looks like in this new reality. A bold, stripped-back set, bright lighting and anaglyph 3D-inspired effects create a futuristic atmosphere.

The casting champions a new wave of storytelling, with all three cast members leading the fashion industry into a new modelling world - as well as their shared, intuitive sense of style. Jourdan Dunn, 30, is a modern icon. Her experience reads for someone twice her age - it includes a slew of firsts including the first black British model to make the Forbes models 2014 rich list and the first black model to walk a Prada runway in a decade back in 2008. Her campaign supporting cast is just as interesting in the form of ones-to-watch, Selim Ibrahim and Amin Lawal.

Once again, FLANNELS has harnessed some of London’s hottest creative talent behind the scenes alongside those in front of the camera - working alongside stylist Shaquille R. Williams and photographer Christina Ebenezer, the team has created an engaging and fresh look for the Autumn/Winter ‘20 season.


“I was thrilled to be asked to be part of the new FLANNELS campaign. As a brand, FLANNELS is all about embracing and celebrating multiculturalism. They support emerging talent as much as top designers - which is something that is close to my heart.” says Jourdan Dunn.

“I was overwhelmed when I found out that I’d be working with FLANNELS and being part of their new campaign. As a relatively new model, it was exciting to shoot the campaign wearing brands I knew very well. These types of opportunities don’t come around every day and for that I’ll be grateful for a lifetime.” says Amin Lawal.


“I am so excited to be part of this campaign, the shoot was super professional and I think the team managed to get some amazing shots. I’ve done some really amazing shoots this year and this campaign was another great project to be part of.” says Selim Ibrahim.


From runway collections to the latest streetwear drops, the campaign reveals the retailer's exclusive array of brands available for the Autumn/Winter ‘20 season. The imagery boasts the hottest luxury names including Prada, Off-White, Burberry, Moncler, Stone Island, Vetements, Balmain, Saint Laurent & Amiri.

Since having been discovered in London in 2006, British model Jourdan Dunn has secured some of the most prominent castings within the industry. She is a model, a mother and making moves into acting, all the while encompassing her passion for food into everything that she does. 


She has won model of the year at the 2008 and 2015 British Fashion Awards, at the 2013 Harper's Bazaar Women on the Year Awards, in 2014 models.com names her as an icon, and in 2015 she was dubbed a “new super”, a selection of models that are recognised as modern day supermodels. In 2015 she won the Inspiration Award at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards, 2016 she was Elle’s Style Infuencer of the year and in 2017 she won Glamour’s Entrepreneur of the year.

ABOUT SELIM IBRAHIM

Selim aged 20, originally from Germany, has recently moved to London to pursue modelling (he was initially scouted in both Amsterdam and Barcelona whilst on holiday). Selim is also working on a music career – he is currently recording music here in London. Back in Germany, he had the opportunity to play semi-professional soccer, but decided to focus on modelling/music – he still has interest in anything sport related, he loves running/swimming.

21 year old Amin grew up in east London. He was scouted in 2019 in Stepney Green, by The Squad Management whilst he was an aspiring football player, who changed his route to become a model and student – he is currently completing a degree in Business and HR at Northampton University.
