Ecem Y. Cicek Maps the Fragile Space Between Becoming and Being

Reflecting on the in-between space of becoming and being, the series moves through cycles of transformation much like the seasons growth and decay, fullness and absence, infinity and ending. In moments of pause and transience, vulnerability and endurance coexist, and the in-between reveals its own rhythm of renewal a space where everything appears the same, yet nothing is ever quite the same.

The photographs hold fragments of this cycle, echoing nature’s transitions and the emotional, symbolic weight of seasonal life: waiting, blooming, fading, and beginning again.
