LA FETICHE FW25: a joyful obsession, stitched between Glasgow and Paris

Looking back at FW25

LA FETICHE has always been about a very specific kind of wardrobe pleasure. Not the fleeting thrill of a trend, but the slow-burn love of pieces you reach for again and again, the ones that become part of your identity.

Created in 2017 by April Crichton and Orély Forestier, the brand was born from a shared design language that formed in Paris, where they first met while working together. Today, that dialogue continues across two cities: April works in Glasgow, Orély is based in Paris. The result is a signature blend that feels instantly LA FETICHE: French chic with British eccentricity, refined but never too serious, classic but always with a wink.

At the heart of it is a simple idea: make joyful, irreverent, everyday clothing to treasure forever. Clothing that is not just worn, but obsessed over. That talisman-like quality is embedded right into the name, inspired by the pieces the founders have always loved, garments that carry sentiment and a slightly magical, keep-forever pull.

A heritage of making, not just referencing.

LA FETICHE’s foundations are rooted in craft, and FW25 continues to honour that through a commitment to local French and Scottish manufacturing skills, developed in collaboration with traditional artisans. That respect for how things are made is not presented as nostalgia. It is the engine of the brand, giving weight and longevity to the silhouettes and knits that define the collection.

This is why the lookbook feels like a wardrobe in motion, not a fantasy. The clothes are designed to live with you, to hold memory, to become the “you” piece in a room full of outfits.

FW25: timeless codes, contemporary confidence

The new FW25 lookbook returns to the brand’s north-south DNA, drawing on the timeless wardrobe codes of France and Scotland. It blends artisanal know-how with contemporary lines and strong silhouettes, true to LA FETICHE’s spirit.

There is a clarity to the shapes: coats and tailoring carry a protective, oversized attitude, while knitwear leans into structure and tactility. These are not delicate clothes. They are confident clothes, designed to stand up to daily life while still feeling special.

Color as emotion: brights that lift the everyday

If the silhouettes provide the backbone, the color story provides the mood. FW25 sits on a classic base of navy, black, cream, khaki and denim, then disrupts it with bold, joyful hits of saturated hue.

Hot pink and sky blue appear with graphic intent, often used in tights or strong blocks that instantly sharpen the look. Mustard brings warmth and a slightly retro energy, while vivid green cuts through the palette with a fresh, electric charge. Red moves between playful and powerful, sometimes punctuating an outfit, sometimes carrying it. The effect is purposeful: these are colors designed to make you feel something, to turn “everyday” into a little moment.

Paris, February 2025: a collection that feels like a memory

Shot in Paris in February 2025 and photographed by Letty Schmiteerlow, the collection is captured with a clean focus that lets color, texture and silhouette speak. The imagery feels like looking back at a brand that knows exactly what it is, and has known for years. It is not trying to convince you. It is simply showing you.

FW25 lands as a continuation of the LA FETICHE promise made in 2017: pieces with sentiment, pieces with presence, pieces you collect because they feel like you, and because you know you will still want them years from now.
