MATERIEL's Resort 24 collection

The collection is distinguished by a duet of cargo and corset pieces. Cargo models are made of pure polycotton, whereas corset items (jacket, top and skirt) are made of the raw denim.

MATERIEL goes ahead with layer experiments what you can see in recycled wool styles such as 2-In-1 Layer on Layer Blazer, Belt Layer Lined Pants, Lined Belt Layer Skirt and Layer on Layer Top which is also in organic cupro in Indigo Mix color. Designers tried a commercial move to exclude a signature shape eco leather utilitarian coat, making it quite shorter (see Belted Mini Coat) and also by creating the coat in absolutely different textile type - Double Breasted Maxi Coat (polycotton).

The dedication to various panel pieces is always in our hearts. Denim 2 Piece Coat, Zip & Belt Shirt, 2-In-1 Dress, Ruched Paneled Dress, 2-In-1 Second Skin Dress, Silver Logo Geometry Top - the great examples of the panel direction in the RE2024.

As always, a special attention is paid to the unique print of the collection, which was formed by designers. We probably gave the name Indigo Mix again because there is something incomprehensible and not fully understood in every woman, which gives each of them even greater beauty and individuality like a phenomenon of indigo.

ABOUT MATERIEL

Tbilisi’s oldest textile manufacturer Fashion House Materia dates back to 1949 and is responsible for preserving the technology and aesthetic of the era. Inheriting the corporation’s expertise MATERIEL was founded in 2014.

Label was built with the intention to collaborate with young, local creatives. Each one of them is responsible for creating a new chapter in the brand’s history. Their hard work and dedication have become predominant to MATERIEL’s international success.

MATERIEL's unique approach juxtaposes structural tailoring with feminine silhouettes. The collections represent an ongoing conversation of geometric and architectural forms with character of determined and ambitious woman. The young creative team, led by CEO Maia Gogiberidze, brings back classic MATERIEL silhouettes and examines them through new lens with carefully selected color palette and unconventional details.
